- It locates the hospital's cms-hpt.txt, fetches the machine-readable file, reads the header, and runs the CMS Schema v3.0 validator against 45 CFR 180, then reports each finding with the file URL, last-updated date, and a review timestamp.
- Do I need to pay to see the findings?
- No. Verify a work email and the full report, every finding, in full, is yours. We never blur the answer or charge to unlock it. The free check is the proof; the paid product is watching your file and regenerating it when it drifts.
- Why can I only check one hospital?
- The public site shows a hospital itself, not the market. Cross-hospital comparison, scoring, and fleet views are the product. Every check resolves to exactly one hospital, your own.
